Bengal Tiger and cubs

This blog is being done as a project for a conservation biology course at the University of Washington.

The purpose of this website is to educate the public on the basic information of Bengal Tigers, their current status, and efforts that should be done in order to save this declining species.

I will explain the current situation for Bengal Tigers and what dangers are facing them. After examining these Tigers and the problems they face, I will attempt to synthesize all the data I have collected and give my own interpretation of how to best help these animals. Although I recognize there are efforts underway to preserve this species, I also feel that important potential helpful factors are being left out. This synthesis will occur in the "My Educated Opinion" tab of this blog, where I will address these factors and how I think current conservation plans should be added onto.

I hope this blog as a whole will be a source of information for those seeking knowledge on this species. I also hope this information can lead to further improvements being made on the current conservation plan for Bengal Tigers.

  1. There is no homepage. Make a homepage and add it to the tabs. The homepage should:
-Provide background information on the topic at hand
-State the purpose of the website
-Give a brief overview of the website
